Description & Goal
We had an e-commerce (Springtide Research Institute) site that included books that did not have descriptions and author information.
The goal was to create a way that this information can be visible to the customer and managed by an admin user. Also, have authors be searchable and have their profile.

Wireframes Product Admin Side
The product admin side of the site and section for the author will enable admins to simply click on an author from the right-hand side and they will appear on the right. After the admin selects to update the author will appear on the product page.
On the product page, the author’s name will appear under book details and is selectable. On selection, the user will be redirected to a new tab with the author’s info.

Wireframes Author Admin Side
To enter the author’s information, you will navigate to the author plugin (which functions like a post). There you create an author and/or edit them. The only required entry for the authors is their name. Body content and feature image will not be required.
